Ex-primary school teacher Graeme Clark had always said that he would one day open a coffee shop. Graeme achieved his goal in October 2007 when he packed in the teaching career and opened his Gloria Jean’s Coffees franchise in Epping, Victoria. Drawn to the franchise by the inviting atmosphere and the support of a well known brand, Graeme has been successfully building his business in the bustling shopping centre where it is located. What’s his favourite part of the business? The personal relationships that you form with your guests…it is the best part of the day according to Graeme.

Steve joined Gloria Jean’s Coffees as a Franchise Partner in November 2008, after 30 years of independent business ownership. Experienced in managing a newsagency and butchers shop, Steve decided on a Gloria Jean’s Coffees store as his first franchise experience. His decision was made on the high regard that the brand is held amongst consumers, and the fact that it is a quality product, offered at an accessible price. A typical day on the job for Steve involves juggling business management as well as getting out behind the counter to ensure that the high standard in product and service is being met.
